Remembering colour

Peonies are without a doubt my favourite flower. When we moved house last year, it was of great excitement when we first realised how many peonies had been planted around the garden. And then they started growing, and growing and they’re enormous! Huge, vibrant heads of rich cerise – stunning!

It reminded me of our Cerise Grosgrain, and how easy it is to become just a little too focused on neutral colours. Don’t get me wrong, I love the effect of calming neutral colours, but maybe from time to time I need to bring out the Cerise Grosgrain on crisp white Egyptian cotton, and just live colour a bit again.
