How to order
Our website is here to give you an idea of what we have done and what we can do, but really the options are almost endless. We can also use trims you might have already and can also source ribbons, trims and colours for you according to your requirements.
We are happy to send out ribbon or thread colour samples free of charge so you can see them ‘in the flesh’.
Along with any ribbon or thread sample requests, you can request a swatch of our cotton sheeting in 400 or 800 cotton sateen in any of the six colours.
Our ‘Stylist Service’ means we can create bedlinen using designs you have in mind. If you have a sketch or an image of something you like or are trying to match, just send it over. We will create a unique design which can be beautifully embroidered onto bedlinen in your chosen colour or colours. Prices available on request, contact us for more information.
If and when you decide to order, we request full payment before production begins.
Be assured that your personal details as well as your payment details are confidential. Gilly Nicolson Bespoke Bedlinen accepts the following methods of payment:
BACS Transfer: We can provide details of our bank account over the phone or via email.
Cheque: Please make payable to Gilly Nicolson, and send to the following address: 1 Spylaw Avenue, Edinburgh, EH13 0LW, United Kingdom.
Card Payments: We accept the following cards payments over the phone. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and Visa Electron.
PayPal: We can provide details of our account over the phone or via email.
Delivery of your bedlinen will take between 4 and 6 weeks from time of ordering to point of delivery to you (if in the UK). Please inform us if you require your order for a certain date and we will endeavour to meet this. For orders outside the UK, we will provide you with an estimated delivery date.
In the rare occurrence of a delay in delivery we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.
Delivery will be made to the address you provide at the point of ordering. If you wish to change the delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email.
For all our deliveries, a signature may be required.
UK and International orders will be charged at cost (please enquire).
Cancellation and returns
Because your bedlinen will be custom made, you have 7 days after payment if you need to change any details. Bespoke items cannot be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.
If for any reason you are dissatisfied on receipt of your bespoke bedlinen, please contact us by phone or email.
