Each piece in our collection is meticulously crafted in Portugal, a country renowned for its rich heritage of textile artistry. We have worked with our mill there since the beginning of our journey. Our commitment to quality is uncompromising, using only the finest materials to ensure every product is as durable as it is exquisite.

Our Founder
Gilly realised she wanted to be an entrepreneur during her early teens. She spent many an hour dreaming of different business ideas, but it was following the desire for travel and adventure in New Zealand that really brought the idea to life.
Whilst living and working in Wellington, she came across the bespoke bed linen business that provided the final missing piece to her dream. Working for a luxury, boutique brand, she learned hands-on about how to run and grow a small business – the ups and downs, wins and disappointments. But more importantly, she experienced the enjoyment clients would feel watching their bespoke designs and creations come to life. The nature of the product meant listening to clients’ needs, understanding their designs, building and nurturing the relationship with them and fulfilling all expectations.
All of which became the building blocks for the foundations of Gilly Nicolson Ltd, which was setup in 2007 after returning to Scotland.
