Duck feathers are straighter with a thicker quill which results in a lower fill power, but when balanced with a higher percentage of duck down to make a 400 fill power, the result is a perfect blend of comfort and weight.
Professional cleaning recommended or launder on a gentle 40˚C, the filling and casings are OEKO-TEX® Standard Certified. All of our feather and down bedding is NOMITE and Downafresh® Certified.
If you are unsure about which tog to choose, here is a little advice which might help. Choose a higher tog for colder rooms or if you feel the cold, and a lower tog for warmer climates or if you overheat at night:
- 4.5 tog - light and airy, ideal for summer or warm sleepers
- 9-10.5 tog - medium weight, perfect for the spring and autumn months
- 13.5 tog - extra warm, best for winter or cooler bedrooms
