For over 17 years, we’ve partnered with the same mill nestled in the heart of Portugal—a region with a rich legacy in textile craftsmanship. This long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust, uncompromising quality, and a shared passion for creating the finest luxury linens in the world. Our Production Manager has been by our side since the beginning.
From the moment a piece of fabric arrives at the mill to the final monogrammed detail, every product—be it a crisp white sheet, a tailored tablecloth, or a plush towel—passes through the skilled hands of artisans who treat each item with exceptional care.
The Art of Craftsmanship
Once we receive your order, whether it be a premium long-staple cotton, linen, or other luxury fabric, we start at the cutting tables, where precision is paramount. Whether the piece is part of our readymade stock collection or a fully bespoke order, exact measurements and flawless cuts ensure a perfect fit and finish.
The sewing rooms are where the real magic happens. Experienced seamstresses, many of whom have worked at the mill for decades, sew each item with an eye for detail and a hand for finesse. Every hem is carefully stitched, every seam smooth and even.
Bespoke Beauty
For our bespoke customers, this process goes even further. We work closely with clients to design one-of-a-kind linens—from custom sizes and colours to personalised embroidery and monogramming. Once the design is finalised, the production begins with a meticulous schedule that takes approximately four weeks from start to finish.
Our embroidery specialists are true artists. Using state-of-the-art machines alongside traditional techniques, they bring monograms, family crests, and decorative details to life with flawless precision. Each thread is placed with intention, ensuring that the final result is nothing short of exceptional.
A Tradition of Quality
Maintaining this level of craftsmanship is only possible with a team that truly cares. At every stage, quality control is rigorous. We inspect each product by hand, checking everything from stitch tension to fabric softness, ensuring only the best pieces leave the mill. It then goes through another quality control process in our studio in Edinburgh, before being sent to the client.
